During the past many years, the two products SEAMANAGER and OMEGA have been working closely together, and we are always looking for ways to improve it. After many considerations, we haven evaluated how SEAMANAGER should be developed going forward – and I am happy to inform you about the conclusion, which is the following:
From October 1st 2021 the product SEAMANAGER will be taken over from SeaPay, and afterwards fully owned by Soft-Team. All future responsibility for SEAMANAGER will then reside with Soft-Team.
From October 1st 2021 all support, maintenance, new development, consultant assistance etc. for SEAMANAGER, will be performed and carried out by Soft-Team.
From October 1st 2021 Mr. Steen Christiansen will be employed by Soft-Team. Steen will then join us in the combined SEAMANAGER/OMEGA team.
The above arrangements are made in agreement with SeaPay, as we all believe this will be the most efficient vessel setup going forward.
Additionally, we have now initiated the development of a brand new SEAMANAGER version, using the same new technology, structure and easy to use setup as the newest OMEGA version. This new vessel software will be released during 2022. The new name of the vessel software will be revealed on a later stage.
By joining all the forces and development skills in one group – we will build one of the best vessel software for crewing and payroll on the market – and with even better integration towards OMEGA.
